Lidegran was born in Odeshög in Sweden, where she started her musical education at five years of age. She studied violin, piano and then organ.
She graduated as a violinist at the Royal Music Conservatory of Denmark (DKDM) in Copenhagen.
She has lived in Portugal since 1989, where she first played for a year in the Porto Orchestra - Régie Cooperativa Sinfonia.
She is a founding member of the Lyra string quartet, which has had an intense activity over the last years.
Since 1997 Lidegran has played in the Grupo Música Nova, a contemporary music ensemble directed by the composer Cândido Lima. Within this ensemble she has premiered several works, including works for solo violin.
She is a violin teacher at the Porto Music Conservatory since 1996.
She is a member of the Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble since its foundation.
