Luís Miguel Leite (1993) is a guitarist, performer and teacher with a degree from the University of Minho, a Master's in Music Teaching from the Institute of Education at the University of Minho and a Master's in contemporary music from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid.
In his artistic career he favours the interpretation of 20th and 21st century repertoire, incorporating works from the contemporary Portuguese repertoire for guitar. His career includes premieres of works by national and international composers. He has released the following albums:

He obtained solid training in classical guitar with Ricardo Barceló. He studied interpretation with Teresa Folgueira and attended masterclasses with Mak Grgic, Judicael Perroy, Costas Cotsiolis, Fernando Espí, Pedro Jesús Gómez (early music), Gerardo Arriaga, Dejan Ivanovic, among others.
He has won honours in dozens of national and international classical guitar competitions, including the Luigi Mozzani International Classical Guitar Festival (Vibo Valentia - Italy) in 2011, the Juan Crisóstomo Arriaga Guitar Competition (Bilbao - Spain) in 2014, the Luso-Spanish Competition (Fafe - Portugal) in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2013, the National Guitar Competition (Ourém and Fátima - Portugal) in 2012, the Vila Verde Regional Competition in 2013 and the Gilberta Paiva Competition in 2014, the latter two in chamber music.
In addition to his artistic activity, he teaches at the José Atalaya Music Academy and the Music Academy of the Vizelense Philharmonic Society. He is an author published by Ava Musical Editions, where he has some works for young guitarists (didactic studies). He is invited to organise workshops, conferences and courses to improve his playing. Together with
José Teixeira, he created "Música Contemporânea Portuguesa para Guitarra" (2019), a movement to valorise and circulate contemporary guitar music written by Portuguese composers or those living in Portugal. He is a member of the Phoebus Collective, a varied ensemble that favours the interpretation of contemporary repertoire. He also develops projects in the field of light music through performance, production and musical direction.
