Prelude to a rock and fugue

I wrote this work in August 2013 for the Kla-Vier Duo, having in the background some common places in music – alluding to a musical form (prelude), to a genre (rock) and technique (fugue). It's a relaxed and almost ironic piece. Already in the title one finds a provocative rock between a classical prelude and an orthodox fugue. In an atmosphere oscillating between a prelude with serious style, a rock with certain swing and an uncommon fugue (the theme and the counter-theme start simultaneously!), the work has a structural unity within the diversity of the materials,
