This work was conceived in 2013 and is the result of a comission by the Dias da Música Electrónica Festival.
The music, which is played by one viola player, sometimes assumes complex textures and contrapun- ctual structures, similiar to a string ensemble.
The several violas that is possible to hear throught the piece are basically a result of the same instrument. The electronics support of the work was develloped almost totally from the original sound of the viola, which, after recorded, were transformed and expanded in studio.
The timbric work in the viola and electronic parts is the main generating force of the musical speech.
As the instrumental and the elet- ronic parts frequently intertwine themselves, one of the main atractions of the piece is to give the listeners a complex musical path, beginning in the viola original sounds, and slowly moving away from them towars a new sound universe.
This work is dedicated to the musician João Pedro Delgado.
