Musala, is a work in one movement, mostly inspired by the folklore from Balkans. There is a Cadenza, which explores an “open music” concept, where the interpreter should create your own music, based in the character and style of the work. This work was written in order to be premiered at the Saxoporto Festival 2013 offered to the Portuguese Symphonic band (BSP), and dedicated to João Pedro Silva.
