al-Uqṣur
Since very early that I've been interested in the ancient world
civilizations, and the Egyptian civilization is perhaps the
one that most fascinates me. This work portrays an
“imaginary folklore” mainly based in literature about the
Ancient Egypt. Work dedicated to Francisco Ferreira and
Banda Sinfónica Portuguesa, with premiere at the 3rd
Concurso Nacional de Composição Banda Sinfónica
Portuguesa.

al-Uqṣur – The ancient city of Thebes, the
great capital of Egypt during the new kingdom, and the
glorious city of the god Amon-Ra

Torrents from Nile – The Nile is a major north-flowing river in northeastern Africa, generally regarded as the longest river in the world

Cairo City – Cairo is the capital of Egypt and the largest city in the middle-east. Located near the Nile
delta, it was founded in (Anno Domini) 969 and is known
as “the city of a thousand minarets”
5. The Nile Delta – The Nile Delta is formed in northern Egypt where the Nile river spreads out and drains into the mediterranean sea. It is one of the world’s largest river deltas.
