Program Notes
CATARZTOPH was written as an ode to the present, in a sound painting about the times we live collectively, in a search for a better world in the midst of chaos, in the midst of the advent of space colonization, in a struggle for the triumph (survival) of Humanity and for unity of the peoples.
For a few weeks I scribbled in search of striking motifs and sound images, which in some way (or several) represented the strength and will to expand the frontiers of existence, in the midst of entropy and inhospitality.
This work intends to provoke listeners to put life and time in perspective, and of course, above all, to enjoy a journey through varied soundscapes, with different colors, reliefs and intentions.
