In the first phase of the Portuguese Music Research & Information Centre (2002-2008), we worked on and included Portuguese composers and resident composers in Portugal, of the 20th and 21st centuries, with recognised activity in the areas of classical and experimental music. From 2009 we began to gradually work and included Portuguese composers of the 19th century.
The current universe of composers will be extended to other epochs in the future taking into account the human and financial resources available.
Regarding the performers section, we insert active performers (soloists or groups) that regularly include in their repertoire 20th and 21st centuries Portuguese composers.
The condition of composer edited by the mic.pt does not involve any consideration, share, percentage of copyright or any other pay and offers the composers a particular promotional treatment.
