In Australia’s colonial era, Australian music carried the
fingerprints of the Irish population. One of the main
currents known as “Australian bush music” inherited
several elements seen in Irish music. In the other hand,
Australian musicians gave to this “new Irish tradition”,
Aboriginal walkabout themes, Aboriginal words and used
Aboriginal instruments such as the didgeridoo. This work
is inspired in this folkloric duality. This work is dedicated
to Portuguese Army Jazz Orchestra.
