Parallel Universe
This work was originally written, based on the initial idea
of expansion elements throughout the speech. In the first
movement some of these elements are latent in constant
evolution and expansion in all the register. Subsequently,
this initial idea gives rise to a small motif that assumes
the main center of evolution in all the musical speech.
The second movement presents the central motif in a
clear manner, associated to the woodwinds, followed by
a several number of developments throughout this
process. In the third movement, in spite of the the new
materials, there are constantly small allusions to the main
motif, and the development of the speech culminates in
the motif in its original form. This one is followed by is
last expansion, until the tutti orchestra in a gesture that is
reminiscent of the first movement, thus closing the cycle
of events and announcing the end of the Work. Before
the end, appears a full distension that refers to the end of
the first movement, but now, in a sudden gesture, the
Work ends with a tutti fortissimo.
