Anamorphoses III is part of a cycle of pieces called Morphoses for instrumental and tape. Similar to what happened in Anamorphoses I and II, its main tape sound has purely electronic sounds plus sounds that result from the electronic transformation of originally acoustic sources. The several processes of timber transformation, applied to the sounds originally acoustics, induces them to loose their previous identity originating new imaginary instruments. There is a different composing process between the written violin part and the elaboration of the tape part. In composing the tape part I allowed myself to develop a more directly plastic approach in the manipulation of the sound material.
